MICHAEL FINKELSTEIN

Michael Finkelstein originally joined KBCP in 2007 before leaving to spend 2.5 years in investment banking at CIBC and 7.5 years in private equity at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

At CPPIB, Michael was responsible for performing due diligence on large cap companies across a wide variety of industry verticals, including industrials, financial services, retail, power, telecom, media and technology sectors. Michael has led numerous financial, accounting, commercial, legal  and tax due diligences.

​

Michael rejoined KBCP in 2017 and is responsible for leading our private equity business.
